The colourful Raphaël Laventure collection

In our last Echo du Moulin, we were delighted to announce the exceptional collaboration between Cattier and the artist Raphaël Laventure to celebrate the 400th anniversary of our company. To mark this event, he has created an ambitious work of art: 400 bottles of the Blanc de Blancs Premier Cru have been individually hand-painted, numbered and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity guaranteeing its uniqueness and its status as a work of art.

Today, we invite you to take a closer look at this unique creation, which results from extensive dialogue between the artist’s world and the soul of our company.

The technique Raphaël Laventure chose for this work is also innovative: for the first time ever on a bottle of wine, he has used acrylic paint applied with a knife. This method, the artist’s signature on his paintings and sculptures, gives the bottles a unique texture, unexpected depth and liveliness, transforming the bottle into an almost sculptural piece.

The artist has created a rich palette of distinct colour moods, each designed to reflect the complexity and sensory nuances associated with champagne tasting, and to accompany emotions or moments of escape.

Raphaël Laventure’s artistic imprint is immediately recognisable on these bottles. The energy, vitality and exuberance of colour that characterise his work, including his famous “JOY, ROCK, KISS and SNOW” sculptures, are fully transposed onto these bottles.

Each bottle is a work of art in its own right, designed to be admired as much as shared!
