Champagne Cattier and racing on the high seas
This summer, Cattier champagne had the honour of setting sail alongside a team of enthusiasts in the legendary Rolex Fastnet Race, one of the most renowned ocean races in the world of sailing.
Created in 1925 and organised every two years by the Royal Ocean Racing Club (RORC), the Rolex Fastnet Race is a monument in the world of sailing. It attracts several hundred yachts from all over the world, sailed by both great champions and passionate amateurs. The race route is as emblematic as it is dreaded: almost 700 nautical miles (1,300 km) to cover, in frequently changing sea conditions. On 26 July in Cowes, under clear skies, the crew of the sailing boat Sailing Poland set off on this extraordinary adventure in a spirit of competition, friendship and sharing. Our company was proudly represented on board: the Cattier flag fluttered in the wind, a symbol of elegance and support, and our cuvées accompanied this exceptional voyage.

As the days went by, the team successfully maintained their concentration, crossing to the famous Fastnet Rock in Ireland, driven by the adrenalin of the race and the beauty of the seascapes. Three and a half days later, after a sustained effort and an emotional crossing, the yacht crossed the finish line in the Normandy town of Cherbourg en Cotentin.
And what better way to celebrate this momentous occasion than a toast with a glass of Cattier Champagne? A symbol of achievement, conviviality and sharing, glasses were raised to this exceptional adventure, which our company was proud to support. A big thank you to the crew for flying our flag so high and spreading the Cattier spirit as far as the waves of the Rolex Fastnet Race.
Cattier champagne knows no boundaries.
