Magnum Blanc de Blancs Vintage 2018 Limited Edition

To mark this historic anniversary, Cattier is unveiling an exclusive cuvée: the magnum Blanc de Blancs Millésime 2018 Premier Cru. Scheduled for launch in June 2025, this limited edition embodies the pinnacle of the family’s expertise. “This anniversary cuvée is the result of our 400 years of experience,” says Alexandre Cattier. “We have selected the best Chardonnays from our vineyards to create a wine that pays homage to our roots.”

Produced exclusively in magnums, this 2018 vintage has benefited from 6 years of ageing on the lees in our deep cellars in Rilly-la-Montagne. This long ageing gives it remarkable aromatic complexity and fine bubbles. The style of this cuvée is both gourmet and elegant: notes of ripe white fruit, candied citrus fruit and white flowers mingle with subtle hints of brioche, underpinned by an invigorating freshness and good length.

This 400th anniversary cuvée has been produced in limited quantities, including 500 magnums presented in an exclusive luxury box.

The 2018 vintage is also symbolic, marking the 100th anniversary of the first bottles of Cattier champagne sold in 1918.
